Help us raise £5,000 for new Chelmsford Project

Today is the launch of Aviva’s Community Fund Crowdfunder, raising money to help us open the FoodCycle doors in Chelmsford.  The new project will serve a deprived area with a large homeless population and many living on a low income, who will really benefit from a big FoodCycle welcome, a free weekly hot meal and good company.

We’re aiming to raise £5,000 to get the project off the ground. We’ve already found a venue and now we need to raise the funds to recruit and train Project Leaders to run the project; ensure the kitchen is suitably equipped and build up a store cupboard of additional ingredients to make our meals healthy and tasty.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

MAKE A DONATION – Head over to the Crowdfunding page and make a donation, it doesn’t matter how small, it all adds up.

SHARE – If you can’t support financially, helping us spread the word will also make a big difference – send to friends, family or share on social media.

KNOW SOMEONE THAT WORKS AT AVIVA?
From Tuesday 10th March, Aviva will be giving all staff a pot of money and they will then choose which cause/causes they would like it to go to.  If you know someone that works for Aviva, please do encourage them to distribute theirs to FoodCycle.
