The Big Give Christmas Challenge

The Big Give Christmas Challenge

We’re excited to let you know that FoodCycle has been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s largest match funding campaign.

We will be raising money to help us continue nourishing our communities through the winter months. This time of year can be extremely hard for our guests. When temperatures plummet, many find themselves making tough choices about whether to keep the heating on or use precious pennies on cooking, whilst many more dread long winter nights spent alone.

Our community meals make such a difference to our guests, bringing people together over a hot, healthy meal, lovingly made using food that would otherwise go to waste.

For 7 days from 12 pm on 3rd December, one of our fantastic funders has pledged to double the impact of every donation making a gift of £10 worth £20 to FoodCycle.  With your help, this would enable us to give a healthy hot meal to nearly 14,000 vulnerable people.
